We are Janell + Ryan! Your tattooed and slightly unconventional husband and wife team experienced in capturing timeless imagery. Photography is what brought us together. So we combined our talents and became Oak + Pearl Photo!
We are a family of six if you include our naked cat, Catnip Everdeen.
Art is our passion and has been our full time baby for 13 years!
Adventuring around our local trails keeps us immersed in nature and gives us a much needed break from the computer. There is a lot that goes into a photo from the in camera image, to the final product. A huge part of my work is the way it is retouched, I take intense pride in my style and sometimes that takes a little longer on the delivery side.

All collections are booked and saved with a $150 session fee. The session fee includes a ton of stuff! It includes pre-shoot consultation, wardrobe and styling advice.
* Outfit choice is so important. It will play a huge factor in the outcome of your photos and how well it works with the scenery.
Lastly it includes the session itself, this can take 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. We have photographed hundreds of people together and have perfected our shots all while being incredibly efficient.
* * * The Session fee also acts as a non refundable retainer. Due to our time being limited and us blocking off that whole evening for you.

- Proofing gallery of 60+ images to choose from

*will happen on final edits which include skin smoothing.

All sessions take place one hour before sunset within 30 mins of town.
*Final digital files are sent via digital download.

750 + GST
(including session fee)
**Remaining 600 to be paid 1 day before shoot or
complete with five payments of 120 before shoot.
