Shelby and Cody

November 6, 2014

As most of us Grande Prairie folk know we have quite bi polar weather. This makes taking photos quite hard especially when you are a photographer who prefers to shoot at golden hour. For Shelbys engagement session I wanted the golden glow but the clouds weren’t lifting and if anything we would have to shoot in the rain. We decided to just go with it as snow was going to arrive at any time as well! Usually I refuse to shoot in the rain but it was just a sprinkle and it wasn’t too dark.  I’m so glad we did! The look of the wet wood and machinery added such a rich tone to everything. It went completely great until we climbed to the top of the hill for a scenic shot. That is when the wind and rain decided to come full force making us having to work as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Shelby and Cody were so easy to work with and photogenic that despite mother natures furry getting the shot wasn’t hard. Another wedding to be excited for in 2015!
