Kayla and Garrett’s wedding was full of meaningful detail. Their ceremony was held in their area and the reception in their home.  Her aunt runs Grower Direct floral shop here and town and the florals were absolutely stunning! She had a custom gown and I was so excited for sleeves and all the class.  The flower girl is her best friends daughter who wore the same dress her mommy did when she was a baby.  Her dad built the arbor and benches which you can see through out the day. It all ended in the back yard for low lit dancing.  It was the most romantic day we have ever been a part of <3

Their love story.
By Kayla

“We met in early high school years, and stayed friends throughout. Garrett had moved to Grande Prairie from Grande Cache to play hockey not long before we met. We had made a deal to try and set each other up with our best friends actually haha, but after a few months of hanging out often we realized our feelings for each other. After serious consideration (months of it haha), we finally decided we were both all in and have been together ever since! 6.5 years ago!
Our song is, Big Jet Plane – Angus & Julia Stone (Acoustic Version) we used this song because before we were dating Garrett bought me the CD as a surprise and he used to sing this particular song to me all the time driving. It holds a lot of meaning. ”
